5th March 2023, over 150 mountain bikers gathered at Tidworth B1kepark for the B1ke Root 1 Race 1, part of the Grass Roots Race Series. The downhill MTB series featured a one-minute high-speed descent with steep and technical sections, roots and ruts, swooping berms, and rollers.

Competitors like Brooke King, Laurie Tennant, George Wilkes, Reed Darley, Caspar Bradley, Soli Harvey, Sam Turner, Michael Boyles, Willow Baker, Ellie Jones, Adrian Paul, and Aaron Young all took home the top spots in their categories.

The event was a success, thanks to the hard work of the organisers, the dedication of the racers, and the support of the sponsors, including DMR, Melon Optics, TF Tuned, and Mitchell Cycles. The B1ke team extended their gratitude to the marshals and spectators who helped make the day a great one. The B1ke Root 1 Race 1 was a thrilling day of racing, and everyone looked forward to the next event in the series.
