Understand the B1KE Network Grading System
Trail Colour: Terrain Difficulty
Trail colour reflects the overall terrain difficulty — from green (easy) to pro line (extreme). This aligns with internationally recognised MTB grading standards.
Lozenge Format: One Clear Icon
All trail grades are shown using a single coloured lozenge. The lozenge’s colour matches the trail terrain grade, and the number of dots inside represents feature size.
Feature Size: Dot System
One, two or three dots inside the lozenge indicate increasing technical feature size — from small rollable elements to large, unavoidable jumps and drops.
And always look before you leap
Mixed Risk: Not All Black is Equal
Even within a black-grade trail, feature sizes may vary. The dot system makes it clear whether you can roll features or must commit to jumping.
Know the grade Before You Go
Understanding both terrain and feature grading helps ensure you’re choosing trails that match your skill, bike setup, and commitment level.
Built to Progress
Our trail network is designed to help riders build skills and confidence as they go.
Clear Grading
Each trail is clearly marked, making it easy to choose the right level at the right time.
Challenge with Control
Progression is baked into the design—push your limits safely and steadily.
Not for Newbies
We don’t offer green-graded trails. A basic level of off-road experience is essential.
Minimum Bike Size
All bikes must have a minimum wheel size of 18 inches to ride our trails.

Pro Line TRAILS - extreme

Part 2 - feature GRading System
Two lozenge trails will contain technical trail features of a medium to large size. A trail with a two lozenge grade MAY contain features that can not be rolled (e.g. on a black graded trail) but MAY also have a lesser or rollable option available.
Three lozenge trails have large technical trail features.
These will be unavoidable and require suitable ability and total commitment. Riders should be capable of, and expect to leave the ground in order to complete these trails.
